Bolivia

Bolivia was a highlight for us, its culture was so different to anywhere we'd ever visited before. Aside from the fact we entered it from the highly metropolitan Chile and Argentina, it was a beautiful experience to see Cholitas roaming the streets selling their products on small stalls - and often falling asleep on the job! It was the cutest place and we could have stayed for much longer. Bolivia was also the cheapest country in the whole of South America, so stock up on your llama pants - South America's version of Asia's elephant pants and all your souvenirs to take home. Check out these guides for Sucre and La Paz to help you plan your trip.
