Bolivia was a highlight for us, its culture was so different to anywhere we'd ever visited before. We entered it from the highly metropolitan Chile and Argentina so it was a different but beautiful experience to see the Cholitas roaming the streets, selling their products on small stalls - and often falling asleep on the job!
It was the cutest place and we could have stayed for much longer. Bolivia was also the cheapest country we visited in South America, so stock up on your llama pants (South America's version of Asia's elephant pants) and all the souvenirs to take back home.
